Congratulations to Cristie Kerr who won the LPGA Championship by 12 shots.  Cristie is the first American to take the #1 spot in the world ranking.  Cristie has been one of my closest friends on the LPGA Tour since we were paired together in my first LPGA event 9 years ago.  I was the maid of honor in her wedding and she was there for my first win at the Evian Masters in 2007.  We have also both been three time members of the Solheim Cup.  Congratulations Cristie!!!

I had a great week in Rochester.  I stayed at the home of the CMO of McGladrey, one of my corporate partners.  Mark, and his wife, Joan, live about 15 minutes from the course.  We had a fun week sharing lots of chats over morning coffee, as well as great BBQ dinners.  I finished 25th this week, and have seen good improvements in my golf game the over the last few weeks.  I am on week 3 of a 5 week stretch. The next event is in Toledo, Ohio and then I will go on to Pittsburgh for the U.S. Women’s Open.
